Who we are

FindMyKink (findmykink.com) is an adult review and recommendation site for people aged 18 and over. We publish editorial guides, quizzes and games, and we earn commission from some of the sites we link to. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the site.

What we collect

There are no accounts, sign-ups, comments, uploads, newsletters or payments on this site. You never enter personal details, and we never ask for any.

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used. Alongside standard page views it records these events: quiz started and quiz completed (with the number of cards you swiped yes on, never which ones), a click on an outbound link (the destination domain and brand), a video played on the AI short-film pages (which title), and which “lucky dip” suggestion was shown or clicked. Google processes this data under its own policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not run any other analytics, advertising pixels or session-recording tools.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel handles your request in order to serve the page, under its own privacy policy. We do not keep a copy of server logs or IP addresses.

What is stored in your browser

The quizzes and games keep their state in your browser’s local storage so you can pick up where you left off. None of it is sent to us:

findmykink_state — your quiz progress and yes picks (local storage; deleted when you reset your results).
findmykink_age_verified — that you confirmed you are 18 or over (local storage).
findmykink_quiz_started, findmykink_quiz_completed — flags so the analytics events above fire once per visit (session storage).
fmk_passthrough — if you arrived from an ad, its source, subsource and clickid parameters, kept for the visit so the partner can attribute the click (session storage).
fmk_lucky_* — which brand the lucky-dip button picked, so it stays the same during your visit (session storage).

Session storage is cleared when you close the tab. Clearing site data for findmykink.com in your browser removes all of the above.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager, sets its own (typically named _ga and _ga_…). You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works normally without them.

Affiliate links and third parties

Many links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to sign up or buy something, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link takes you off this site, through an affiliate network’s tracking address (for example Everflow, CrakRevenue, AdultForce or Feeliate) and on to the partner. Those links carry tracking parameters identifying findmykink.com and, where present, the ad parameters listed above. A few links first pass through a redirect on our own domain (/go/…); we do not log those clicks. The network and the partner see your request as any website would, and their own privacy policies apply from that point.

The quiz card videos and a few character images are streamed from ourdream.ai’s content delivery network, which sees the same request data any media host sees.

UK and Australia

The interactive quiz, results and game pages are not served to visitors in the United Kingdom or Australia. Your country is read from a header our hosting provider attaches to each request. We do not store it, and we do not store your IP address.

Children

This site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please leave the site.

Your rights and how to reach us

We hold no personal data about you: there is no account, no record of your quiz answers and no IP log to look up. There is therefore nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on request, and we do not operate a contact channel. Anything stored in your browser is under your control, as described above. For analytics data, use Google’s controls linked above.
